Le Courlis cottage Le Courlis cottage classified 3 ears, was built was built in an old courtyard. To respect the typical construction techniques of Normandy, the north facade was built in half-timbered. On the ground floor, the light is crossing and we privileged the space to move easily.

Le Cormier is an extension of Le courlis. It was built in an old barn. We have kept a few stone walls and exposed beams and especially a very nice space to meet up with family or friend(s).
We called the gîte «Le Cormier» in memory of the tree offered by the AFFO (Association Flore Faune de l’Orne). This typical local tree is endangered, but grows proudly in the garden.

The Belforest offers the room ZEN, 30 sqm, with a beautiful terrace of 15 sqm, facing south with a magnificent view on the Bellême forest: quality services with bathroom and toilet, internet, double bed 160 x 200, and single bed 90*200. Possibility of additional sleeping for a 4th person on request. On the ground floor, 50 sqm common room where you can relax with a good book from the library, or play guitar or piano (musicians are welcome).
At breakfast you can taste some local products.

The Belforest : a dream come true

By creating Le Belforest, my dream of living in the middle of nature becomes a reality. But I also like to share my passions.
A former horticulturist, I spend a lot of time in my garden to embellish it, but also to observe it, to feel it….. I am interested in ancient crafts such as woodworking, spinning and weaving wool, embroidery.
Distance studies have allowed me to enrich my knowledge in the field of aromatic and medicinal plants.
I will be pleased to welcome you in my beautiful renovated Norman farmhouse and make you discover my garden and my passions.
